Position Summary:
Based in Haltom City, TX the Shipping/Receiving Clerk will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Office Manager to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.
- Maintains shipping and receiving area as needed.
- Assists with loading and unloading trucks. Schedules truck shipments, UPS, and FedEx via computer as needed.
- Interacts with customers on a daily basis.
- Inspects and records incoming and outgoing orders for count, damage, dates, etc.
- Brings any irregularities or other discrepancies/concerns to supervisor immediately.
- Promotes and practices safety and good housekeeping.
- Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
- This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
- Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.

- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in computer applications including Microsoft Office applications is preferred and the ability to learn new software programs related to function is required.
- Some shipping experience highly preferred.
- Must have forklift experience and be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Will be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone.
