Pouching Operator

About this job

• Training takes place Monday through Friday during the first two weeks of employment.
• B Shift employees will train from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
• After training, associates will transition to their assigned shift and follow the Pitman 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

• Scoop powder from designated containers and transfer it into the machine hopper to maintain continuous production.
• Repeatedly handle and transfer powder materials throughout the shift.
• Operate and monitor filling equipment used to fill nicotine pouches.
• Monitor powder levels and machine performance to ensure consistent production.
• Assist with machine adjustments, changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Inspect products for proper fill, seals, and overall quality.
• Remove defective products and report quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and production guidelines.
• Complete required production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of powder spills.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements.

• 1–3 years of manufacturing, production, packaging, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable repeatedly scooping and transferring powder into a machine hopper.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and handle containers of powder as required.
• Comfortable working with powder materials and wearing required PPE.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
• Ability to follow GMP, safety, and cleanliness requirements.
